 The Secret Commonwealth coming for Spring 2019? In an article published today, the Oxford Mail discusses the release date of the second instalment of The Book of Dust, The Secret Commonwealth.
According to Philip Pullman, a release date in October 2018, one year after the release of Book 1, seems "a bit optimistic" : "Originally I was hoping to get it finished in time for publication a year later. It is finished but it still needs a considerable amount of work and I want to make sure it is as good as it can be for the readers. If I can get it done in time (for October) I will but it might have to wait until the spring". More on the Launch of La Belle Sauvage On Octobre 18, a member of Cittàgazze was in Oxford to attend the international press conference for the launch of the long-awaited La Belle Sauvage.
Within the walls of the prestigious Bodleian Library, the author read during the event some bits of his new story and answered many questions related to it. Philip Pullman to air on French TV Philip Pullman will be the guest of the broadcast La Grande Librairie on France 5, next Thursday (Nov. 16) at 20.45pm to discuss about his new book La Belle Sauvage to be released on the very same day in France.
The show, hosted by François Busnel, is dedicated to all kinds of litterary works and is one of the most proeminent TV shows in this field in France.
